The club meets quarterly for information and social interaction, to conduct club business, and to provide a forum for elected officials, candidates, and others with appropriate messages for the group. Meetings typically are held on a Friday in January, April, July and October at the Coronado Center from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Specific times and places are posted on the Activities & Calendar page of this website.  You can find out more about us by surfing this website and at the bottom of each page you will find the link that enables you to email us.

Refreshments are provided at these meetings.

Visitors are welcome at the meetings, especially those who may have an interest in becoming an active part of our group. We are especially happy to entertain visitors when we have notable speakers to address us. We don't "check membership cards."

We invite you to get in touch with us.

If you Believe:

If you believe in equal rights for all citizens, women as well as men, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.  Equality is Democratic bedrock.  We Democrats are inclusive and integrationist to the core.  In the Democratic Party you can be yourself.

If you believe in individualism,

If you believe that social class or religion or political party or race or nationality do not tell the story of who you are and what you’re about, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.

If you believe the sexual lives of your neighbors are not of profound interest to you, and if hunger, homelessness, healthcare, and the staples of middle-class life get your attention more than the thought of two people of the same gender sleeping in the same bed, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.

If you believe in the value of education and equal educational opportunity for all, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.  Democrats are diehard teachers.  Education is a heroic task and it’s the answer to just about anything.  The Peace Corps was pure Democratic idealism.  Education is an expensive proposition, but there’s no choice.  Nobody is born smart and we need good schools.

If you believe in poison-free communities where we have clean air to breathe and clean water to drink, where you can eat the fish taken from the lakes and streams, and you believe that those who poison our air and our water should be held accountable and at the very least have to pay to clean them up, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.

If you believe in preserving a healthy natural heritage for our grandchildren and their grandchildren to enjoy and in helping to protect the environment in which they will live, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.

If you believe in public and private security and the right of citizens to obtain redress in the courts for the abuses of the rich and the powerful and those who hide behind corporate shields for personal gain, you would find a welcome in the Democratic Club of Hot Springs Village.

The club meets quarterly. Times and places are posted on the Activities page of this website.  You can find out more about us by surfing this website and at the bottom of each page you will find the link that enables you to email us.
